Albuquerque International Festival 2011

Many of your favorite food trucks – plus a great lineup of entertainment, arts and crafts booths, community organizations, children’s activities, international cuisine and more will be at the Albuquerque International Festival on Saturday, October 1 from 10 am until 5 pm.  The ABQ International Festival is held at the Talin Market at the SE corner of Louisiana and Central – the same place as Curbside Cuisine.

Now in its third year, the ABQ International Festival celebrates Albuquerque’s multicultural International District. Drop by after the Balloon Fiesta or take a break from your Saturday errands!  Free parking is available at Alcazar and Central SE, and the Festival is accessible by transit via the Central Avenue (Route 66) bus and the Louisiana (Route 157) bus.

Entertainment starts on the main stage at 10 am.  The entertainment schedule is here.  There will be music and dance representing Albuquerque’s many cultures on the main stage, with special performances in the crafts and food area during the day.

The Kid Zone will include a climbing wall and jumper – lots of fun for kids of all ages.
